Fridtjof Nansen ble invitert av republikkens president som ba ham om å reise rundt for å undersøke forholdene i landet slik at han kunne gi råd om utviklingsmulighetene.
English: Fridtjof Nansen on a visit to the president of the republic Adzharistan. One of the pictures from the journey through Georgia during the period July 3 to July 14, 1925. Fridtjof Nansen was invited by the president of the republic to travel around and look at the conditions in the country, so that he could give advice on the possibilities for development.
Deutsch: Fridtjof Nansen auf Besuch bei Präsident der Republik Adsjaristan. Eines der Bilder der Reise durch Georgien im Zeitraum 3. Juli bis 14. Juli 1925.
