Norsk bokmål: Fridtjof Nansen i indianertruger og parka trekker kjelken sin over isen. Han poserer i fotografens atelier. Fordi Fridtjof Nansen selv hadde tatt alle fotografier under Grønlandsekspedisjonen, måtte det rekonstrueres illustrasjoner som viste Fridtjof Nansen i aktivitet. Disse skulle brukes i boken om ferden over Grønland.
English: Fridtjof Nansen, wearing indian snowshoes and parka, pulling his sledge across the ice. He is posing in the photographer's studio. Because he himself had taken all the photos during the Greenland Expedition, illustrations that showed Fridtjof Nansen in action had to be reconstructed. These were to be used in the book about the crossing of Greenland.
Deutsch: Fridtjof Nansen mit indianischen Schneeschuhen und Parka zieht seinen Schlitten übers Eis. Er posierte im Fotoatelier. Weil Fridtjof Nansen selber alle Fotos auf der Grönlandsexpedition aufgenommen hat, mussten Illustrationen rekonstruiert werden, die Fridtjof Nansen in Aktivität zeigten. Diese sollten im Buch über die Grönlandsreise verwendet werden.

The right to be attributed does not expire in Norway.
