Norsk bokmål: Frederick George Jackson, britisk offiser og polarforsker. I årene 1894-1897 etablerte han en meteorologisk stasjon og kartla området på Frans Josefs land hvor han traff Fridtjof Nansen og Johansen 17-06-1896. Atelierfotografi.
English: Frederick George Jackson, British officer and arctic researcher. During the years1894-1897, he established a meteorological station and surveyed Franz Joseph Land, where he met Fridtjof Nansen and Johansen on June 17, 1896. Studio photo.

This is according to § 23 in the Norwegian Åndsverkloven.

Under the former photo law, protection ended 25 years after creation, provided that more than 15 years had passed since the photographer's death or the photographer is unknown. The image is in the public domain if the protection ended before 29 June 1995 under the older term.[1]
