Description
English: Page-holder made from copper alloy. Folded, the end narrows towards a lug on either side, long arms terminating in a square terminal. There is a folded restriction in the arms. Zigzag dot pattern on one side. Medieval, 13th or 14th century.

Page holders are thought to have been used to hold open a number of leaves of parchment, kept tightly fixed to the pages by the sliding tab.
