Description
English: Crucifix (nkangi kiditu) owned by a Ndibu (Kongo) chief from the Tumba area in the first half of the 20th century. It seems to have been locally made for a Capuchin missionary, “Padre Antonio”, perhaps to be related to the Spanish Capuchin Antonio de Leruel, who left Luanda in 1657.
Français : Crucifix (nkangi kiditu), propriété d'un chef ndibu (kongo) de la région de Tumba. Il semble avoir été réalisé localement pour un capucin espagnol, « Padre Antonio », peut-être à rapprocher du capucin espagnol Antonio de Leruel, qui quitta Louada en 1657.
