Español: Fuente de la ninfa de la caracola, en el Parque de Málaga, Málaga, España. La escultura, ejecutada en hierro fundido patinado en color bronce y conocida como 'Ninfa de la caracola', fue adquirida entre los años 1877-1879 por el ingeniero municipal José María de Sancha a la fundición francesa de Antoine Durenne de Sommevoire para adornar la plaza de la Victoria. Allí permaneció hasta 1922, cuando fue trasladada a una glorieta en el Parque de Málaga. Fue retirada del parque en la década de los setenta tras sufrir daños debidos al vandalismo urbano. Estuvo almacenada desde entonces hasta que pudo ser restaurada en 2007 y ubicada de vuelta en su lugar actual. Representa a una joven sentada sobre una roca cubierta de hojas sujetando sobre su hombro una caracola por la que vierte agua.[1] |
