Description Photo taken in the British Museum, London, in September,1967. Their description read, "Baga tribe of Guinée. A dance mask for the cult of Nimba, the spirit of increase. Worn by members of the Simo secret society. The dancer, clothed to the ground in grass or Raphia, carries its great weight on his shoulders and sees through the holes pierced between the breasts."
