Description
English: Modified street sign from Helsinki, made as protest 1899-1917. The street name Nikolaigatan (after Nicholas I of Russia) modified as Nikolaisatan ("Nicholas, The Devil"). Product of Finnish anarchist actors.
Suomi: Protestitarkoituksiin muokattu katukilpi Helsingistä. Nikolaigatan (Nikolainkatu, keisari Nikolai I:n mukaan). Kadun nimi muutettu muotoon Nikolaisatan. Kilpi ollut esillä näyttelyssä Muisti, Helsingin kaupunginmuseo, Hakasalmen huvila. 1.10.1993 - 31.12.1997.
