Description

Gare de Zurich, Suisse La «Nana» veille sur tous les voyageurs transitant par la gare ShopVille-RailCity Zürich.

GaiaMotherTree est une œuvre entièrement artisanale. Les rubans en coton ont été teints à la main puis crochetés avec les doigts et noués en une gigantesque sculpture translucide. Sa forme rappelle celle d’un arbre dont les cimes couvrent le plafond du hall de la gare. Au pied de l’arbre, entre ses racines, se trouve un grand espace accessible où les visiteurs peuvent s’attarder et s’installer sur des coussins et des bancs disposés en cercle. Les éléments en forme de gouttes, pendant du plafond, sont remplis d’épices odorantes et de feuilles séchées.
