Polski: Drabinki gimnastyczne należą do najbardziej podstawowych i uniwersalnych sprzętów do treningu siłowego i stretchingu. Ich historia sięga początku XIX wieku, gdy Pehr Henrik Ling (1766 - 1839) – szwedzki prekursor wychowania fizycznego, skonstruował przyrząd do ćwiczeń na dręczący go artretyzm. W 1813 roku, dzięki wsparciu króla Szwecji, Ling założył państwowy instytut, gdzie gimnastyka nauczana była jak sztuka. Nika Kosmasa zafascynowała otwartość ich formy oraz wielofunkcyjność – jak mówi, oprócz niezliczonej ilości ćwiczeń, mogą się one przydać także w innych sferach życia, chociażby do suszenia ręczników, instalacji systemu półek czy gier erotycznych. |
