Summary
[edit]DescriptionNight time High Speed Train- Cardiff Central (31488701294).jpg |
Great Western Railway's 1B51 1537 London Paddington to Port Talbot Parkway stands at Cardiff Central on Sunday 15th January 2017. The train was terminating at Port Talbot due to planned engineering works between there and Swansea. The train used Platform 2 - the first time that I have had the chance to see a westbound passenger service using this platform since full bi-directional signalling was commissioned over the Christmas period. Until that time passenger trains could only use the platform in the 'Up' (eastbound direction). 43177 leads the train with 43004 on the rear. |
