Kommentar: Juliana (1948-1980), geboren 1909 in Den Haag, gestorben 2004 im Alter von 94 Jahren in Soestdijk, Prinzessin von Oranien-Nassau, Herzogin zu Mecklenburg, war die Tochter von Königin Wilhelmina der Niederlande. Sie dankte 1980 zu Gunsten ihrer Tochter Beatrix ab und Wilhelmina (1890-1948), geboren 1880 in Den Haag, gestorben 1962 auf Schloss Het Loo, Prinzessin von Oranien-Nassau, dankte 1948 zu Gunsten ihrer Tochter Juliana ab, 1890-1898 war sie unter der Regentschaft ihrer Mutter Emma von Waldeck-Pyrmont Herrscherin der Niederlande. Während der deutschen Besetzung der Niederlande im Zweiten Weltkrieg bildete sie eine Exilregierung in London. Wilhelmina wurde zur Symbolfigur des Widerstandes gegen die deutsche Besatzungsmacht. Die Münze zu 10 Gulden ist auf den 25. Jahrestag des Sieges der Alliierten in Europa geprägt worden.
