Description
English: Black and white photo of a painting by Nicolas Auguste Laurens, found in an Internet Archive copy of Catalogue Illustrée du Salon de 1906. One of several works by this artist depicting nude nymphs or sirens bathing in or near the sea, usually in pairs or groups. The original grainy, sepia image has been converted to greyscale, contrast-adjusted and cleaned up as best as can be managed. No better quality, or colour, version has been located as at date of posting.
