Description
English: 170911-N-NQ487-193 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 11, 2017) The aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) Commanding Officer, Nicholas J. Dienna, signs a log that travels with a National Ensign that was raised at Ground Zero on the bridge aboard the ship. The National Ensign was raised at Ground Zero after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and is now passed along to a different U.S. military command on the anniversary each year.
