Nice contrast and fabulous lighting of the Harmandir Sahib/ Golden Temple complemented by the main clock tower entrance (notes about this earlier in this album- there are three other less grand entrances, so four entrances in all). We had entered a couple of hours earlier through that magnificent clock tower. Although we were in a bit of a rush to queue up at the main shrine before the closing ceremony, where the Sikh holy book Guru Granth Sahib is retired for the night and carried ceremoniously to the Akal Takht building across the pool, I simply had to stop- I couldn't resist taking in this beautiful view.
