Summary
[edit]DescriptionNi-PVP nanowire.jpg |
English: This is a He-ion microscopy image of Ni-PVP nanowires. These nanowires are highly magnetic in nature and aggregate quickly. Hence, a capping agent like PVP is used to passivate the nanowires. An interesting thing about these nanowires is the formation of ‘spikes’ on the surface. English: This image was taken in Advanced Microscopy Laboratory, TCD. |
