English: This is an SEM image of Ni nanowire without any capping agent on the surface. Since there is no stabilizing agent on the surface of the wires, they aggregate quickly. But the formation of ‘spikes’ on the surface is irrespective of the presence of PVP. English: This image was taken in Advanced Microscopy Laboratory, TCD. |
