English: Newtongrange railway station (site), Midlothian Opened in 1908 on the North British Railway's line from Edinburgh to Carlisle, this station closed in 1969. When the line from Edinburgh was rebuilt as far as Tweedbank in 2015, a new station was provided at Newtongrange, this time south of the road bridge, behind the camera position. View north towards Dalhousie and Edinburgh. The footbridge is on the same site as the former station footbridge. |
