Summary
[edit]DescriptionNewton Abbot Railway depot and works - geograph.org.uk - 787788.jpg |
English: Newton Abbot Railway depot and works 1051 (Built in 1963) on Newton Abbot shed along with a shunting locomotive. The depot and works are shut now and the lines removed. It is now an industrial estate. Just think how many people were once employed at Newton abbot shed and works along with the drivers, shunters and guards. Some of the buildings survive but much of the site has been demolished and new buildings have now sprung up. |
