This is the same disease that was firstdetected at Red Island in Placentia Bay,about a year ago, and is so fatal in itseffects that if not immediately checked,the absolute impossibility of growingpotatoes in Newfoundland for years tocome is sure to result. The Agricultural Board therefore requests that all potato growers who mayobserve indications of disease in theircrop, will at once notify the Secretaryof the Agricultural Board at the officeof the Department of Agriculture andMines.
