English: Newcraighall railway station, Edinburgh. Opened in 2002 by Railtrack, this station is situated on the former Edinburgh-Carlisle 'Waverley' route, which had closed in 1969, although there hadn't previously been a station here.
View north-west towards Brunstane and Edinburgh. When this image was taken, it was the terminus of a cross-city passenger service. |
