Summary
[edit]DescriptionNew mummies (16298996904).jpg |
Our maiden heifers. We keep them separate to the main herds in case they have a difficult first birth. We keep the herd fresh with new starters. All cattle on the station are commercial grade Droughtmaster, which means pure, but not registered, its not a stud. They are very tame, a menace really. They are under a lick shed, we give them supplements (phosphorous etc), and it needs to be kept dry, so there are 12 lick sheds all over the property.
