The factual accuracy of this description or the file name is disputed.
Reason: This is not a Sarmat missile / launcher. At 208+ tonnes, the Sarmat is too heavy for vehicles and can be only launched from silos. The pic in the cited Russian Ministry of Defense's press release is merely illustrative, possibly a 50-ton Topol-M or RS-24 Yars in their MZKT-79221 launch vehicle. Юрий Д.К. uploaded the correct, complete file at https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:RS-24_Yars.jpg - Both the title and the description must be modified.
Description
English: The new heavy Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile underwent an ejection test at the Plesetsk state test cosmodrome.

The pre-flight preparations were carried out according to the plan. During the test, the ICBM proved its specifications within pre-flight preparations and initial stage of the flight. The Strategic Missile Forces checked scheme and constructive, as well as technological solutions implemented in the missile complex equipped with the ICBM.

The heavy ICBM missile is to replace the Soviet-era Voevoda.
