Being healthy and vigorous and well matured, they grow and bloom abundantly in all ordinary situations, and can be safely planted at any time during the grow ing season. They require no petting or nursing, are not easily injured by unfavorable weather, begin to bloom very quickly and continue bearing lovely roses from June to November. If it is desired to keep them over winter they should have a good coat of leaves or straw just before severe weather begins. Moderate freezing does not hurt them. C. & J. Golden Gate. PRINCESS DE SAG ANâA fine new French rose, valu- able for its buds and exquisite color. Producing beauti- ful buds of the brightest scarlet crimson ; medium size, semi-double. 10 cts. each, larger size 15 cts.
