ALBERTA (C. & J., 'gg.)- Very fine, large, handsomely
shaped flowers, borne in compact, well-formed erect heads;
the color is bright flashing crimson, petals shading deeper
toward the edges and broadly bordered and mottled with
rich, golden-yellow; the reverse of petals is elegantly
mottled 5-ellow and crimson; ver\- handsome; three to
four feet. Dormant Roots. 20 cts. each; Potted

grandest Cannas of its color yet introduced — we named it
George "U'ashington. The flowers are deep velvety- crimson,
exquisiteh" shaded; ver^- large size, with broad petals; and
borne erect in bold massive trusses; an altogether noble

rich crimson; large erect flowers, in '^■^'W flue well-built
trusses, borne erect on strong stems: a good vigorous
grower and constant bloomer. Always shows out well and

FAIRY QUEEN— A lovely Dwarf Variety, growing only
about two feet high; valuable for pots and borders; large
flowers, fine trusses; centre of petals, deep red. widely

AUGUSTA .Cuba. (C. & J.. ) — Flowers five inches across,
intense scarlet, wT.dely bordered with clear golden-3-ellow;

ANNIE LAURIE (C. & J. ) — A most charming and lovely
variety-, bearing exquisite spikes of flowers, rivalling the
finest gladioli in color, which is exquisite silver-rose,
with distinct white throat, very beautiful; height, two and

BUTTERCUP— A fine yellow. (See description on page 135,
