AbutilLHi or Chiuese JBell Flower.
AMARANTHUS RAINBOW- Verj- beautiful and the
finest of all the Amaranths ; two to three feet high ;
fine pyramid form, each leaf two colors, half black
and half green, changing in August to bright scarlet
rose, pink, yellow, etc., making a blaze of colors
which few other plants can equal. Pkt. 4 cts.
ALYSSUM, LITTLE GEM— Much larger and finer
than the old kind ; blooms constant!.- all Summer
and Fall ; a sheet of pure white flowers, deliciously
sweet. Pkt. 5 cts. ; Yz oz. 25 cts. .
ALYSSUM, GOLDEN SAX ATILE— Brilliant golden
yellow flowcs, completely hiding the foliage ; grows
about one foot high ; fine for rock-work and quite
showy in masses. Pkt. 6 cts.
ALYSSUM, SWEET— A great fa%'orite, very popular ;
grows easily ever^'where ; covered with pure white fra-
grant flowers thewhole season. Pkt. 3 cts.; oz. 25 cts.
ABUTILON or CHINESE
BELL FLOWER
ABUTILON— Chinese Bell Flower or Flowering Ma-
ple, as it is sometimes called, is a beautiful plant for
house or window ; may be bedded out in Summer and
taken up in Winter ; grows easily from seed, and
blooms very quickly. Lovely bell-shaped flowers,
borne all the year. Colors : "Pink, yellow, orange,
red, white, etc. The leaves are also beautifully mottled
and variegated with green, white and 3-ellow, and are
almost as prettj- as the flowers. It bears hard usage
veil and alvrays looks bright and handsome. Fine
mixed, pkt. 6 cts. 3 pkts. for 15 cts.
ACACIA FARNESIANA— A very beautiful, easily
grown plant that should be better known, delicate
fern-like foliage and charming tassel-like golden yel-
low flowers, deliciousy fragrant, should be started
early in-doors. Pkt. 6 cts.
ACROCLINIUM (Everlasting) or PINK DAISY— Con-
sidered one of the most beautiful everlasting flowers
we have ; grows one foot high ; color, elegant pale
pink, shading to rose; fine for bedding and borders,
and when dried makes lovely Winter bouquets. New
double, mixed colors. Pkt. 4 cts.
AMBROSIA— A fine, hardy annual, with long," spiral
stems, bearing small, 3'ellow flowers of most delicious
fragrance— fully equal to the rose geranium for floral
work, but a different perfume. Seed may be sown
early in open ground. It is easily grown and needs
little care. Pkt. 4 cts.
ANCHUSA CAPENSIS or Large flowering Forget-
me-not— A fine hardy annual, grows about two feet
high, branches freely and bears a profusion of lovely
sky blue flowers, each with a clear white eye ; bloo ns
early and continuously all Summer : fine for cuttirg
and bouquets. Pkt. 4 cts.
AMARANTHUS GIBBOSIS— A very handsome, Orna-
mental foliage plant with long, drooping tassels of
purplish red flowers, frequently two and a half feet
long. Pkt. 3 cts.
Alyssum, Little Gem.
NEW ANTIRRHINUMS OR SNAP DRAGON
Hardly any flowers grown from seed are more handsome
and showy for Summer Beds and Borders than the New An-
tirrhinums or Snap Dragon. The flowers are borne in tall,
graceful spikes, excellent for cutting. Some are deliciously
sweet-scented, and the colors are exquisite. They are easy
to grow, bloom very quickly, and sure to be greatly admired.
NEW SNAP DRAGON, QUEEN OF THE NORTH— A
splendid new variety of greatest beauty. The plants make
pretty bushes, 12 to 15 inches high, covered with large,
white flowers, deliciously sweet, fine for bedding and pot-
culture. Pkt. 6 cts.
NE^V GIANT-FLOWERING SNAP DRAGON grows 18
to 20 inches high, covered with large, splendid flowers of
many superb colors mixed ; fine for beds and borders.

NEW DWARF or TOM THUMB SNAP DRAGON grows
onlv 8 inches high, thickly covered with beautiful spikes
of gay colored flowers, orange, scarlet, pure white, maroon,
striped, etc., splendid for beds and edging. Pkt. 8 cts.; J^
oz. 20 cts.
AGERATUM
Agerstum i»w«rf Imperial Blue.
The Ageratvims are very effective plants for beds and bor-
ders. Their prettj' flowers and leaves completely hide the
o-round all Summer and Fall.
IMPERIAL DWARF BLUE grows six inches high ; excel-
lent for ribbon borders. Pkt. 5 cts.
IMPERIAL DWARF WHITE— Like the above except ia
color. Pkt. 5 cts.
