A splendid new large flowering Salvia
(Scarlet Sag-e); bears three times as many
flowers as the ordinary Salvia Splendens, the
flower spikes being so heavily laden they droop
gracefully with their own weight. It is exceed-
ingly handsome and desirable for lawn or gar-
den, whether planted singly or in groups with
other flowers. The flowers are intense daz=
zling scarlet, and are borne in endless profu-
sion until late in the Fall — one of the most
beautiful Autumn-blooming flowers you can
have. Pkt. 75 seeds 8 cts.
Salvia Splendens, the old large-flowering'
kind, pkt. 4c.

New Petunia
"Snow Ball"
We take pleasure in recommending this
beautiful "Snow Ball " Petunia. The illus-
tration is a reproduction from photograph
showing its dwarf bushy habit and abundance
of bloom. The flowers are pure snow white,
of good shape and size, sweet scented and
lasting. It stands heat and drought well and
has few equals among pure white flowers.
For beds and borders should be extensively
planted. Sure to please. Pkt. 6 CtS.

Carnations
The Giants of California Dwarf Marguerite Carna-
nations are a splendid new strain, bearing flowers of
Giant size, full re§:ular form— many beautiful colors
and delicious fragrance. The plants are of dwarf,
bushy growth, very free flowering and easy to grow,
and as they bloom as quick as other Marguerite Car-
nations, they are a most desirable novelty. Pkt. 8 CtS.
New Single Sunflower, Stella.
Stella is a beautiful new variety, makes neat bushy plants
3 to 4 feet high, with small bright green leaves and covered
all over with fine, large, single yellow flowers with coal-black
centres. Very showy and handsome, and easy to grow. Pkt. 5
cts. Yz oz., 20 cts.
New Clirysaiitliemuin Flowerefl- Sunflower, grows 6 to 7
feet high, and blooms profusely the whole season. Flowers six to seven
inches across, perfectly double pure bright golden yellow, and so rich and

Public domain

This work is in the public domain in its country of origin and other countries and areas where the copyright term is the author's life plus 70 years or fewer.

This tag is designed for use where there may be a need to assert that any enhancements (eg brightness, contrast, colour-matching, sharpening) are in themselves insufficiently creative to generate a new copyright. It can be used where it is unknown whether any enhancements have been made, as well as when the enhancements are clear but insufficient. For known raw unenhanced scans you can use an appropriate {{PD-old}} tag instead. For usage, see Commons:When to use the PD-scan tag.

Note: This tag applies to scans and photocopies only. For photographs of public domain originals taken from afar, {{PD-Art}} may be applicable. See Commons:When to use the PD-Art tag.
