Summary

[edit]
Description
English: New Yorkers listening to the 1922 World Series of baseball by radio. In 1922 radio broadcasting was just getting started in a few major cities and was an exciting new "high tech" innovation. These financial workers on Wall Street are gathered around a car in which someone has installed a radio (cars didn't come with radios yet) and are listening to the play-by-play from the radio's horn loudspeaker which was placed on the roof.
