Purtell, Commanding Officer, Special Operations Division, New York City Police Department; and Chief Joseph Morris, New York/New Jersey Port Authority Police Departments; prepare to unveil the artwork painted on the nose section of a USAF C-5A Galaxy aircraft, during a dedication ceremony held at Stewart Air National Guard Base (ANGB), New York (NY). The artwork honors members of the New York Police Department, New York Fire Department, and the New York/New Jersey Port Authority Police Departments, who participated in rescue effort during the World Trade Center tragedies on September 11th. |
