Description

"New York at arm's length of desire", by Erik Pevernagie , Oil on canvas ,( 100 x 100 cm)x

People in quest of happiness may try to find it in some mythical places that invite settling down for a while.

A city can become a metaphor for boundless possibilities. The Big Apple has always embodied an ultimate dream since it symbolizes temptation, desire, and inspiration. It is at arm's length of passion and fulfillment and happiness.

Happiness is the potential of sharing destiny and letting loose. We may see it burgeoning in the curve of a sensitive vibe and growing into a swinging outline if we can listen to the rustling silence in the foliage of expectations.

Happiness can flow between a playful construction and a painful deconstruction, undulating from a hampering past into a liberating 'now,' escorting a meandering flood of twists and turns, caressing the velvet sand of dreamy beaches, or sometimes smashing into the rocks of reality.

New York can indeed be an opportunity to make dreams come true, unshackle the burdens of the past, and create limitless freedom of the present.

When exhilarating joy becomes soothing stillness, it can turn into inspiriting happiness after splintering the brilliance of its buoyancy and filling each pore of our being with bliss, freeing all the caged wishes of our dreams.

This city can offer us a lovely bouquet of joy, stillness, and happiness.

New York is more than a state of mind. It is the completion of a dream. Frank Sinatra recognized the magic of its power and its radiating charm, and murmurs: "if I can make it there, I'll make it anywhere. »
