Summary
[edit]DescriptionNew York USACE District's newest survey vessel -b.jpg | NEW YORK — Miguel Surage, New York District's survey technician (left), and Stephan Ryshkewitch, a cartographic engineering technician (right), deploy the multibeam sonar survey system onboard New York District's newest survey vessel as they work to calibrate its newly installed survey equipment. As the vessel hasn't been named yet, people have nicknamed it "Little Giant" after the model of the boat and because it's relatively small. "Little Giant" has four different kinds of surveying capabilities. (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers photo by Chris Gardner) |
