Description

An HC-130 Hercules at the New York Air National Guard’s 106th Rescue Wing in Westhampton Beach, N.Y, preparing for Hurricane Florence, September 12, 2018.

On September 12, New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announced that 50 Airmen from the 106th Rescue Wing of the New York Air National Guard are assembling at Gabreski Air National Guard Base to assist in the response to Hurricane Florence, which was forecasted to impact North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.
