Summary
[edit]DescriptionNew York City JFK Airport AirTrain One rail operation.jpg |
English: The NYC JFK Airport AirTrain is notorious for being inoperative. It is the most unreliable airport transportation system of any airport anywhere in the United States, and probably the world. It is frequently out of service or suffering from degraded operations. Either the whole system is down, or it is using a singular rail with only a few cars. When the AirTrain is completely inoperative, busses are used to shuttle people. This ineffective method increases a 30 minute AirTrain ride to a miserable 1.5 hours in what can only be described as utter chaos. The Port Authority has not done anything to improve reliability or increase the quality of service (e.g. clean cars that smell like raw sewage inside). |
