[edit]DescriptionNew Years Dinner 1946 in Seoul, Korea (6695733203).jpg |
We stayed in an old schoolroom while stationed at Seoul, Korea.I recall Jaunary being quite cold. The stove was our only source of heat. We used photoflod bulbs for light because the voltage was so low that regular bulbs werw quite dim. As I recall, he voltage was in the 90's. L-R: Jim Webb, Manton Hanson, DOK1, Jim McNeany. I spent 5 months there; some older men who had more points left earlier. I just found the faded print in a letter that I had written to my folks. |
