| Description |
English: NSWR W. Thow Class C32 (ex-PC Class) or 'Manchester' Class 4-6-0 No.3265 under renovation in the roundhouse at Trainworks, the New South Wales Railway Museum, Thirlmere, 31 March 2016. Introduced in 1892, 191 were built until 1911: 106 by Beyer Peacock, 20 by Baldwin, 45 by Clyde Engineering and 20 by NSWR Eveleigh. They were withdrawn in 1957-71. No.3246 hauled the last regular passenger service in NSW on 3 July 1971. 26 similar locos were built for the Commonwealth Railways in 1914-17 (4 by Clyde, 12 by Baldwin and 10 by the Toowoomba Foundry) as their 'G' Class which were withdrawn in 1925-58. |
