English: New Redheugh Bridge, Gateshead. Looking west along The Tyne towards the New Redheugh Bridge, which carries the A189. It is the third bridge to have been constructed in this position and was opened in 1983. The riverside road on the left can be clearly seen. 1870713 shows the second road bridge which was demolished to make way for this bridge. |
