| Description |
English: New LED railway signal at Rochester. This is an enlargement of part of 1469349. It shows the signal, which is one of the new type of LED signals that can show more than one colour per signal head, so that three heads can show the four aspects (red / yellow / double-yellow / green). In fact it would work with two but three are used in practice, presumably to separate the two yellows by a reasonable distance. The signal is numbered ER8 (East Rochester??) and dated 2008. |
