English: The new globe-shaped interior auditorium of the Auckland Museum in Auckland City, New Zealand. Created within a former u-shaped open courtyard, the central globe now houses several lecture rooms, and is topped by an events hall under a wavy dome ceiling. Around the edges, skylights still allow natural light to enter the courtyard under the globe and bowl. |
