Summary

[edit]
Description
English: New Inn Bridge and Marks in the Stone. The north parapet of the New Inn Bridge has what appears to be a mason's mark just below the top of the wall on the left. Then, in the centre of the refuge, there is a very eroded bench mark with only the horizontal line still visible. For a close up see links 525114 and 525110. The barn on the hill is Salabers Barn, and the lane in front of it is Harber Scar Lane, which is also the Pennine Way and the Ribble Way.
