English: New Cut from Derwas Bridge Drainage channel across the Afon Hafren (River Severn) floodplain. This water is from natural drainage and the pumped scheme on the floodplain. An area of approximately 400 hectares (1000 acres)is within the scheme. (Information from local farmer - who was very interested in Geographs). |
