PLEASE, NO invitations or self promotions, THEY WILL BE DELETED. My photos are FREE to use, just give me credit and it would be nice if you let me know, thanks. This was hanging in the information building at the site. The river was not flowing much as it was a dry summer and the waterfalls were not at their best. The Grand Falls Gorge, has a 1.6 km (1 mi) walking trail located along the spectacular gorge with great views from various lookouts. It is also possible to explore the gorge on a zip line. Grand Falls is situated on the Saint John River. The town derives its name from a waterfall created by a series of rock ledges over which the river drops 23 meters (75 ft). |
