Cathédrale Saint-Cyr-et-Sainte-Julitte. Fresque de l'abside du choeur occidental roman (seconde moitié du XIIe siècle). Ces fresques ont été redécouvertes au XIXe siècle, après nettoyage de l'enduit du XVIIIe siècle. Le cul-de-four de l’abside présente un grand Christ en majesté, bénissant de la main droite et portant le livre dans la main gauche. Il est entouré d'une double mandorle, avec 24 petits visages auréolés. Le tout encadré par les symboles des évangélistes et par deux séraphins. La Cathédrale Saint-Cyr-et-Sainte-Julitte est dédiée à saint Cyr, martyr à l’âge de trois ou quatre ans, en 304, et à sa mère sainte Julitte, une veuve noble résidant à Iconium (aujourd'hui Konya en Turquie). Les deux furent victimes de la Persécution de Dioclétien, ou Grande persécution, qui fut la dernière grande répression du christianisme. Une cathédrale romane est édifiée dans la première moitié du XIe siècle, avec un chœur orienté vers l'Ouest. Une autre cathédrale de style gothique est greffée sur les parties romanes subsistantes, entre les XIIIe et XVIe siècles. Le chœur est transformé en style gothique "rayonnant". Les chapelles des bas-côtés sont ajoutées au XVe siècle. La tour, appelée tour Bohier, puis Boyer, fut construite entre les XVe et XVIe siècles. Elle est ornée de statues de plus de 3 mètres de haut représentant des personnages de l'Ancien et du Nouveau Testament.
