Description
Español: FIGURA 2. Estructura perivascular única con un amplio espacio perivascular y protuberancias perivasculares en la neurohipófisis (NH) y la eminencia media (ME) del ratón adulto.

E) Una micrografía electrónica muestra que los pericitos normalmente se ubican en paralelo con la membrana basal interna (BM, sombra roja), mientras que los pericitos a veces extienden sus procesos celulares verticalmente con el BM interno para constituir protuberancias perivasculares (sombra azul).
La sombra verde y las puntas de flecha sólidas indican el espacio perivascular y las células endoteliales, respectivamente. V, luz vascular.

Las barras de escala representa 1 μm.
