| Description |
Deutsch: Südwestansicht des Waxriegelhauses am südlichen Abhang der Rax in der steiermärkischen Gemeinde Neuberg an der Mürz und direkt an der Landesgrenze zu Niederösterreich.
Das Waxriegelhaus auf 1361 m Höhe wurde ab Sommer 1923 von den Mürzschlager Naturfreunden errichtet und am 4. Oktober 1924 feierlich eröffnet. 1956 wurde es an das öffentliche Stromnetz angeschlossen und 1960 folgte die Erschließung einer Quelle für die Versorgung mit ausreichendem Fließwasserː [1]. Von 2015 bis 2016 wurde das Waxriegelhaus generalsaniert ([2]), wobei die Fassaden zur Gänze mit Holz verkleidet wurden. English: Southwest view of the Waxriegelhaus on the Rax in Austria. |
