Description
Deutsch: Etwa 200 m nördlich des Haltepunkts Tetz überquerte die Bahnstrecke Jülich - Linnich mittels einer kleinen gemauerten Brücke den Malefinkbach. Die Brücke stammte aus der Bauzeit der Strecke (um 1910), der Bach indes führt seit mehreren Jahrzehnten nur noch sehr selten Wasser. Am Abend des 7. März 2020 musste die Brücke wegen massiver Setzungsschäden gesperrt werden. Am folgenden Montag (9. März) wurde sie von Sachverständigen untersucht. Im Laufe der folgenden Monate zeigte sich, dass eine Reparatur unmöglich war, so dass die alte Brücke abgerissen und eine neue errichtet wurden. Das Foto zeigt den Stand der Bauarbeiten im September 2021, Blick nach Westen mit den Häusern von Tetz. Die Rurtalbahn richtete für den den gesperrten Abschnitt Tetz - Linnich einen Schienenersatzverkehr mit Bussen ein. Im Dezember 2021 wurde auf den Fahrplanaushängen des Ersatzverkehrs dessen Ende für den 24. April 2022 angekündigt.
