Description
English: Kanno's Mill (Kannomühle), a former mill and then forester's lodge and inn, near Alt Zauche, district of Alt Zauche-Wußwerk, Landkreis Dahme-Spreewald, Brandenburg, Germany.
Deutsch: Die Kannomühle, ein ehemaliges Forsthaus und zuvor Mühlengebäude, am Nordfließ bei Alt Zauche, Ortsteil von Alt Zauche-Wußwerk, Landkreis Dahme-Spreewald, Brandenburg, Deutschland. Die „Kannomühle“ ist ein geschichtsträchtiges Alt Zaucher Bauwerk. So ist auf alten Landkarten bereits 1648 an dieser Stelle eine Puschmühle und 1725 eine Neuzauchener Mühle verzeichnet. 1736 übernahm dann der Müller Martin Kanno die Mühle. Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts wurde sie in ein Forsthaus umgewandelt und gehört seitdem der brandenburgischen Forstverwaltung. 1926 erhielt der damalige Förster Voigt die Genehmigung zum Betrieb einer Schankwirtschaft. Diese wurde beliebtes Ausflugsziel am Neu Zaucher Hafen. Nach der Wende verfiel das Gebäude. Es gibt jedoch Bestrebungen, das am Theodor-Fontane-Weg gelegene Gebäude für touristische Zwecke zu reaktivieren. Dafür setzt sich der 2014 auf Initiative von Dirk Jerol-Ebenau und Yves Schwarz gegründete Verein „Kannomühle Spreewald e.V.“ ein.
