Description
Nederlands: Het museum "Bisdom van Vliet" in Haastrecht (Zuid-Holland) toont de bezittingen die de familie Bisdom van Vliet gedurende 300 jaar verzamelde in een herenhuis uit de 19e eeuw waarvan de interieurs origineel en onveranderd zijn sinds het overlijden van het laatste familielid in 1923. Het gebouw heeft een overdadig versierde gevel met natuurstenen onderdelen en een middenrisaliet, bekroond door een segmentvormig fronton. Rechts een koetshuis met gevel in imitatie-renaissancetrant (1879) met rolwerkdecoratie.
English: The museum "Bisdom van Vliet" in Haastrecht (Province of South Holland, Netherlands), shows 300 years of accumulated property by the family Bisdom van Vliet in their 19th century mansion, of which the interiors remains untouched since the last family member died in 1923. This listed building has an ornate facade with stone elements and a central part topped with an arc segment. At right, a coach house with a faux-Renaissance style façade from 1879.
