Description
עברית: המבנה הוקם בשנים 1949-1951 על ידי אגודת האורז - אגודה הדדית של עובדים העבריים שהוקמה בשנת 1929על ידי עובדי ענף הפרדסנות בפתח תקווה במטרה להבטיח את תנאי עבודתם וזכויותיהם. האגודה פעלה במשך 30 שנים בהובלת מרדכי בן דרור. בסוף שנות ה-50 רכשה ההסתדרות את הבניין וקראה אותו על שמו של נטע הרפז לרגל שנת החמישים לעלייתו ארצה. המבנה נחנך מחדש ב-1961 בתור 'בית נטע (הרפז) - מרכז לתולדות כיבוש העבודה, יידע היישוב וההסתדרות מיסודם של המרכז החקלאי ומועצת פועלי פתח תקוה'. את הבית ייסד וניהל מרדכי רייכר. עד שנת 1994 שימש הבית כארכיון לחומרים שנאספו בנושא כיבוש העבודה,, וכן כחדר עיון וספריה חקלאית, בית למשרדי איגוד הפועל החקלאי, מוזיאון ואולם הרצאות. כמו כן התקיימו בו לאורך שנים רבות חוגי שחמט לילדים. מבט מרחוב ההסתדרות
