Description |
English: Flint arrowhead knapped from mottled mid grey/brown flint. Both faces have negative flake scars across the surface with re-touch along the edges. The arrowhead is a slender leaf shape in plan, which is described as a kite shape; Type 2c by Green (1980 ‘The Flint Arrowheads of the British Isles. A detailed study of the material from England and Wales, with comparanda from Scotland and Ireland’ Oxford: BAR British Series 75 i and ii). The arrowhead measures 28.38mm long and 12.99mm wide. It weighs 1.3g.
