Neolithic leaf-shaped arrowhead
Description
English: A complete leaf-shaped flint arrowhead dating to the early Neolithic period, circa 3500-2500 BC. The arrowhead is leaf-shaped in plan with a lentoid cross section. Both faces of the arrowhead have been extensively worked and the edges retouched. The flint is a mottled blue/grey in colour. The flint is classified in Green's typology as Type 4Ak, Green:1980, page 72, fig 29. Dimensions: 24.95mm x 13.51mm x 3.02mm. Weight: 1.1g.
